The service here is wonderful. I also enjoyed the food and ambiance. My favorite thing about the place is the sandwiches. I also enjoyed the shopping.
There is something about Wegmans bakery, you walk in, and can just smells the deliciousness of bakery items being made. So since I was in the area, I decided to stop by to pick up a fruit kind of cake to bring to a meeting that I was going to tonight. I also picked up a couple of things. They had all there registers opened, so the lines moved pretty fast. I was wondering why the cashier asked if I wanted a bag, I was like yes please. How was I going to walk out with my groceries. Well I found out why, they charge $0.05 a brown bag now. I was so surprised. I didn't see any signs. Now I know for next time to bring my own bags.
My home store is in Bridgewater NJ and being in the area coming back this detour saved a trip at home. It was great to see the same general layout in PA making everything a familiar step away. Wegmans has always been a step ahead of the more national chains in the area. Whole Foods is one exception, but they are more of a niche store compared to the Wegmans experience. It is not going to be the cheapest experience, but it is well worth the visit with great quality across the board.
Wegmans in Easton is absolutely wonderful. There service has been consistent throughout the entire pandemic. Want to send a special thank you to Nikki in the sub sandwich shop that goes out of her way to accommodate customers. Thank you for making an awesome sandwich, and being so kind. It's employees like Nikki, that is the reason, I always visit Wegmans on each trip I take to Easton or Nazareth, Pa. The bakery, floral, pizza, and sub shop are all the best. Love my shopping experience, all of the employees are super nice, the store is very clean. I will not grocery shop anywhere else in PA but Wegmans.
